What this is all about

I used to have a diary. I started one when I was 10 or 11. At that time, being a writer was still one of my dreams. I still have my diaries. The last entry on my journal was about how I no longer write on it anymore. And I realize it’s mainly because of my laptop and the internet. It’s so much easier to open the former and log-on to the latter than unearth my ten-year old notebook of thoughts and delusions out of my dusty cabinet. That’s the reason I started this blog. For personal gratification, mainly. If someone drops by and wants to comment, then feel free to do so. Just don’t expect me to talk back.

    1. Hello Bill … I use “multigravid” out of habit. In the health profession, when one deals with women who have RH needs, one gets mire-deep in clinical terms like “nulligravid” (never been pregnant) or “multigravid” (a woman who has had multiple pregnancies) or “multipara” (a woman who has had multiple deliveries) — I am sometimes (often?) quite geeky and nerdy in the way I write … mea culpa 🙂

But yes, “mother” would be a more sympathetic and accessible word.

Thank you for dropping by my blog and taking the time to comment 🙂
